The microsoft language portal


If, like me, you live in a none English speaking country and you have to make your application in the native language you will sometime have trouble finding good replacements for English terms.

Programming languages tend to be in English and after a while you tend to think in English just a bit and you tend to take inspiration from English websites. And translating your application isn’t always easy. A dictionary might help sometimes but perhaps it is better to do what the big boys do. And you can, you can do what MS does.

They call it the Microsoft Language portal.

 

I tried it with one of the most common terms available. Namely File.
